	New Adhesive Cartridge Estimator Mobile App Simpson Strong-Tie has launched the Adhesive Cartridge Estimator (ACE), our first mobile phone application (mobile app). The ACE mobile app is designed to quickly calculate the number of cartridges of Simpson Strong-Tie anchoring adhesive necessary to complete a specific application, and replicates the content and features of our existing ACE website app. The mobile app is compatible with iOS (iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®) and Android mobile devices, and is a free download available in the Android™ Market and the App Store℠ for Apple products. 	New Website Calculator: Coil Strap Cut Length Calculator The new Coil Strap Cut Length Calculator on strongtie.com determines the cut length of each strap and the total amount of coil strap needed for each application on a construction project. Click here to view the calculator and learn more about CS and CMST coiled straps.

BPS Bearing Plate

The new BPS bearing plates are 3"x4 1/2" rectangular plate washers that meet the latest code requirements for mudsill anchorage for shearwalls. The BPS plate is designed for either 4x or 6x walls for added versatility and is available for 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" diameter anchor bolts. The 1 3/4" slotted hole allows for adjustability to account for bolts that are not in the middle of the sill plate. The BPS bearing plate is uncoated or with a hot-dip galvanized (HDG) finish.
