New Simpson Strong-Tie Kent, WA Facility Opens
Simpson Strong-Tie recently relocated its Pacific Northwest operations to a new facility in Kent, WA in an effort to prepare for future growth. A grand opening event was held on October 1, with Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke, Economic Development Specialist Josh Hall and City Councilmember Dana Ralph along with Simpson Strong-Tie employees, customers and distributors participating. The festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony, open showroom, and tours of the new facility. The building's training center will host more than 500 individuals in the building industry annually, including structural engineers, contractors and distributors, building officials and others. Simpson Strong-Tie has been in the Kent, WA area since May 1999.
