Each catalog is fully searchable by keyword, including product name, number or description. Many catalogs include an interactive table of contents so you can go directly from the table to the product page with one tap. You can also zoom in to view drawings and tables in detail.

CPTZ Concealed Post Base

Simpson Strong-Tie introduces the new CPTZ post base. The CPTZ includes a knife plate with a standoff base to achieve a clean, concealed look, while providing a 1" standoff height above concrete. The standoff height reduces the potential for decay at post or column ends and is code required when supporting permanent structures exposed to weather or water splash. New Web App Video Tutorials

Step-by-step video tutorials for popular Simpson Strong-Tie web apps are now available on our website. Tutorials for our Fastener Finder, Wood Shrinkage Calculator and Steel Deck Diaphragm Calculator guide users through the process of using each of these apps. The videos are also available on the Simpson Strong-Tie YouTube channel.

Special Order Worksheet Now Available

Simpson Strong-Tie wants your product ordering process to be as smooth as possible. To help avoid confusion or a delayed order, we have designed special order worksheets for products that may need additional information from customers.

Our latest special order worksheet is for CCQM/CCTQM/ECCLQM column caps for CMU and concrete piers. For these special order parts, the contractor or distributor needs to relay several pieces of information to Simpson Strong-Tie to process their order. This particular worksheet shows the requirements in an easy-to-understand format designed to eliminate confusion. Download the worksheet here.

NOVA airs episode featuring Strong Frame® Special Moment Frame Testing for NEES-Soft

NOVA, the highest rated science series on television, recently aired a segment on the Colorado State University-led NEES-Soft project that tested Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong Frame® special moment frames as a seismic retrofit solution for soft-story buildings.
