Simpson Strong-Tie News: August 2015
10 Years After Hurricane Katrina

This month marks 10 years since Hurricane Katrina, one of the most devastating natural disasters in U.S. history. The lessons learned from this storm led to significant efforts to rebuild stronger and more resilient homes and buildings in the Gulf Coast.

Simpson Strong-Tie offers several resources for building professionals and homeowners in high-wind regions. Lessons Learned from Katrina documents local homeowners' experiences on video and sheds light on the widespread damage caused by the hurricane while showcasing the importance of connectors and high wind-resistant construction. Other materials include the Simpson Strong-Tie® High Wind-Resistant Construction Catalog and Flood Resistant Construction Guide.

Visit strongtie.com/highwind for more information about hurricane and high wind-resistant construction.
